DAY 3: Puwani Garaat to Kalkatiyadhaar (6km trek)

A hike to Osala Village begins the day. We would just go across the bridge and follow the Supin River until we arrived in Osala...

At a height of 8.5K feet above sea level, it is a tiny village. We’ll pause here for a little before continuing. Due to its relative flatness, the trek from here is a lot of fun. It could be a little steep at first, but the amazing view that greets you will more than make up for it. We will walk over two lakes in thirty minutes. A wooden bridge spans the second one. After we cross the bridge and go around the mountain curve, we’ll be facing a row of meadows in front. A spectacular hike through mountain curves, farmed areas, and expansive fields of stones and knolls awaits us on the 90-minute walk from here. The Supin valley is visible above a makeshift wooden bridge that is just ahead.
