On Day 1, you will begin your journey from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti, covering a distance of approximately 220-240 km by road. After an early morning departure, you will drive through the scenic Rishikesh-Badrinath Highway, passing by picturesque towns like Devprayag, Srinagar, and Rudraprayag, where you can stop for breaks and refreshments. You’ll arrive in Pipalkoti by evening, check into your accommodation, and rest for the night, preparing for the next day’s trek.
Day-2: Pipalkoti – Gulling Top

On Day 2, you will drive from Pipalkoti to the base camp of the trek, starting the ascent to Gulling Top. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on a short drive to the trek starting point, followed by a 4-5 hour trek to Gulling Top. The trail is a gradual ascent, passing through dense forests of oak and rhododendron, and offering beautiful views of the surrounding valleys. As you approach Gulling Top, the landscape opens up to reveal panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayas. You’ll camp at Gulling Top, enjoying the serene surroundings, and relax after the day’s trek. As you ascend, the forest thins out, and you will be surrounded by open landscapes and distant mountain views. By the afternoon, you’ll reach Tali Forest Camp, a beautiful campsite nestled in the forest, offering a peaceful atmosphere to rest and acclimatize. Day-4: Tali forest camp to Kuari pass and back via Khullara top

On Day 4, you will embark on the most exciting part of the trek, heading from Tali Forest Camp to Kuari Pass and then back via Khullara Top, covering a distance of approximately 14-16 km in 8-9 hours.
After an early breakfast, begin the ascent towards Kuari Pass. The trail is challenging but rewarding, offering magnificent views of peaks like Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, and Hathi-Ghoda. Once at Kuari Pass (at 3,650 meters), you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding snow-covered mountains and vast valleys.
From Kuari Pass, continue the descent towards Khullara Top, another scenic viewpoint offering a different perspective of the mountains and landscapes. After exploring the area, head back to Tali Forest Camp for an overnight stay, reflecting on the incredible journey and stunning views.
Day-5: Tali forest camp - Pipalkoti via Gurson bugyal (11150 ft) and Auli (9680 ft)

On Day 5, you will trek from Tali Forest Camp to Pipalkoti, covering a distance of approximately 10-12 km in 6-7 hours. After breakfast, you’ll descend through the beautiful Gurson Bugyal, located at an altitude of 3,400 meters (11,150 feet). This lush meadow offers stunning views of the Nanda Devi and Dronagiri peaks.
Continuing the descent, you’ll reach Auli (at 2,950 meters / 9,680 feet), a famous ski destination known for its breathtaking landscapes. From Auli, you’ll drive to Pipalkoti, where you’ll check into your accommodation and rest after the day’s journey. This day offers a perfect combination of trekking through scenic meadows and visiting the charming town of Auli before heading back to Pipalkoti.
Day-6: Pipalkoti To Rishikesh
Drive Distance: 220 km | approx. 9 hours.
